Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12th, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej [now Onesti] Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast to be awarded a perfect score of 10 points in the Olympic competition. Bela Karrolyi is the Romanian gymnastics teacher who later became Comaneci's coach who first came across Comaneci at the age of six. First competing in the championships for juniors from Romania in the year 1969, she finished 13th. In 1970, she won. Her first ever international competition in 1972, she took the top spot by winning three gold awards. She took home four gold medals and one silver medals in her first international competition for seniors which took place in the year 1975. It was the first time she had competed as an adult. The year was 1976 when she won the American Cup at the New York City Olympics. She also became the first woman in history to dismount the parallel bars using backwards double salto. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. In her teens she began her career in the entertainment industry performing as figure skater. Together with her sister Nina Wayne she was part of the traveling show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on the 6th day of September 1942 in Chicago Illinois. Carol's professional career started in the entertainment industry as a teenager. At the age of a girl she started her career as the figure skater alongside Nina Wayne in the travelling entertainment show Ice Capades. The shows were the ice skating of which was performed to music from the stage.
